Jotul cast iron is durable enough to last generations and is 100% recycled and recyclable.

Cleanburn Technology
Jotul’s clean burn technology is modern combustion engineering at its finest. The use of this technology, coupled with our firm assurances of only using the best available materials in our production process, allows us to manufacture products that are highly efficient and environmentally friendly to create our “cast iron promise of warmth”. Clean burning means that the stove has a secondary combustion that transforms up to 90% of the gases and particles in the fumes into heat. The emissions are minimal because the product utilizes the energy to give heat instead of smoke.

Jotul’s clean burn products need considerably less wood than “old” non-clean-products to produce a certain heat output. This can halve the wood consumption. You get a maximum heat output without harming the environment, and a reduction of the amount of wood needed.
